Key Club

The Key Club aims to develop leadership and good citizenship through Christian service. Our club is sponsored by the New Orleans Third District Kiwanis club. Our primary service to Brother Martin is through the  white paper recycling program. Our Key Clubbers are working in the community throughout the year all over the city at Boo at the Zoo, Animal Rescue Center of New Orleans, Super Saturdays at City Park, Mardi Gras Marathon, distributing Thanksgiving baskets to Gentilly residents, cleaning up New Orleans cemeteries, rebuilding houses, and working at community gardens. The Key Club chapter is part of an international organization that gives opportunity for students to network with members of other schools. Annually, various schools in the LAMISSTENN Region gather for fun and service with others schools at Divisional Rally and District Convention. Being a member allows for a great way to make new friends at BMHS and beyond, through the spirit of service.
