Crusaders End Spring with Successful Outing Against Slidell

At the end of the spring season, Brother Martin proved there is a lot to look forward to as a Crusader fan in the 2015 season. Slidell struck first scoring on a 43-yard reception deep down the middle of the field and later scoring a 12-yard touchdown. Aucoin Visits University of Texas

Brother Martin tight end Peyton Aucoin made an unofficial visit to Texas over the weekend. Texas has made a big impression on the three-star tight end Peyton Aucoin becoming a major player in his recruitment. Aucoin added that his favorite part of the trip was getting to sit down face-to-face with Texas head coach Charlie Strong. Scholar Athletes Recognized at National Football Foundation Ceremony

Senior football players Zachary Kael, Rory Luke and Roderic Teamer were selected as Scholar-Athletes by the All-State Sugar Bowl Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame earlier in the year. These Crusaders were 3 of the 33 honored at the annual Scholar-Athlete Award Luncheon on Tuesday, April 21st at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Crusaders Announce 2015 Football Schedule

Coming off one of the most exciting season’s in recent history, the Crusader football program has announced their 2015 football schedule. Brother Martin will face a tough slate that features one Saturday afternoon, two Saturday night and seven Friday night contests. The Football Program consists of five levels of competition: seventh grade, eighth grade, ninth grade, junior varsity, and varsity. Team selections for the varsity and junior varsity teams are made through a tryout process.

Participation at the junior high and ninth grade levels is limited only by medical or physical concerns.
