Crusaders Get Amped Up for 2014 Season

As the sixth season under Coach Mark Bonis gets set to begin, the Crusaders are returning 13 starters from last year’s 4-7 team. Among the 13, seven are back on defense. Crusaders Start 2014 Action

Wednesday night, the Crusaders traveled to Covington to face the Fighting Lions in a scrimmage.  Come out and support our Crusader football team next Friday in the first Brothers of the Sacred Heart Football Jamboree. 2014 Football Family Day

The 2014 Crusader football season got underway on Saturday starting with a parent meeting and a prayer service. Head Coach, Mark Bonis, and Athletic Director, Scott Williams, addressed parents and fielded questions in anticipation of our upcoming ‘campaign’. Crusader Football Prepares for the 2014 Season

For the Brother Martin Crusaders and Coach Mark Bonis, last year did not go as planned or expected.  Brother Martin finished 2013 at 4-7 overall and 1-4 in 9-5A. Running Back Jared West Commits

Senior running back Jared West announced on Tuesday afternoon that he has committed to Northern Colorado. The Bears were his only offer at this time but he is also seeing interest from Utah, South Alabama, Kent State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe and McNeese State. The Football Program consists of five levels of competition: seventh grade, eighth grade, ninth grade, junior varsity, and varsity. Team selections for the varsity and junior varsity teams are made through a tryout process.

Participation at the junior high and ninth grade levels is limited only by medical or physical concerns.
