Brother Martin Named to Super Bowl Honor Roll

As the NFL embarks on their 50th Super Bowl season they are celebrating various players, coaches, and their high schools. This season, 3,000 players and head coaches, and more than 2,000 high schools will be recognized for their positive impact towards the game. Three’s a Charm for Football

Brother Martin hosted National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 3rd in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace. Seniors Peyton Aucoin, Irv Smith, Jr., and Andre’ Walker signed their letters of intent in front of media, coaches, families and friends. Andre Walker ’16 Commits to Houston Baptist

Senior Andre Walker (#93), a defensive end, committed to play football at Houston Baptist. Walker, 6 feet 1, 215 pounds, opted to commit following an official visit with his future in mind. This future Huskie also received nods from Southeastern, Southern Illinois, Southern, and Louisiana College. 2016 Football Convocation

Last night, the Brother Martin Athletic Department hosted a convocation honoring the Crusader Football program. The Football Program consists of four levels of competition: eighth grade, ninth grade, junior varsity, and varsity. Team selections for the varsity and junior varsity teams are made through a tryout process.

Participation at the junior high and ninth grade levels is limited only by medical or physical concerns.
