Crusaders Return to Scotlandville for Second Straight Year

This year’s Division I playoffs have turned into déjà vu for Brother Martin. First, they defeated McKinley 28-12 last Friday night in a much tougher game than last year’s 42-0 opening round romp. Update- Football Moves On in Playoffs

On Friday night from Yulman Stadium, the Brother Martin Crusaders opened the first-round of the Division I football playoffs with a victory over the McKinley Panthers by a score of 28 – 12. This was the first time the Crusader football team, band, cheerleaders, and Debs stepped on the field at Yulman. Update- Football Continues Winning Streak Against Jesuit

On Friday night, the Brother Martin Crusaders (6-4, 4-2) won an overtime thriller against the Jesuit Blue Jays by a score of 23-17. Defenses for both teams dominated almost the entire first half, however with 1:20 left in the second quarter, quarterback John Paul Pierce started the Crusader scoring with a 59 yard touchdown strike to LJ Gilyot to take a 7-3 halftime lead. Crusaders Hope to End Regular Season with a Win

The Crusaders plan to end the regular season with a five-game winning streak as they tackle the Jesuit Blue Jays tonight at 7p.m. at Tad Gormley Stadium. Update- Football Wins Against Shaw on Senior Day

On Saturday afternoon, the Brother Martin Crusaders (5-4, 3-2) defeated the Shaw Eagles by a score of 41-7 and extended their winning streak to four games.
