Swimming Wins Big

A multi school dual meet was held at UNO’s pool on Wednesday where the Crusader swim team walked away with a victory after a dominating performance in the water.  The team is back in action on Wednesday, October 1st at 6:00 pm at UNO against Jesuit & Ben Franklin. Crusaders Honor Swimmers

The Athletic Department hosted a convocation Monday night in the Terrace honoring the Swimming Program. Head Coach Mark Bordelon gave a synopsis of the season, highlighting team accomplishments. Crusader Swimmers Place 3rd in District Meet

Congratulations to the Swim team for their 3rd place overall finish in the District Championship Meet on Saturday. Top individual finishes were Ben East taking 1st place in the 100 yard Backstroke and 2nd place 200 yard Individual Medley, and Aaron James winning 1st place in the 100 yard Breaststroke and 2nd place 50 yard Freestyle. Crusader Swimmers Score a Victory

Meet of Champs

The Meet of Champs combines all the country clubs’ top swimmers in each swim event. Participating in the meet was a number of Brother Martin swimmers who either placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd for many of the events. Green Acres placed 2nd overall to Lakeside. Swimming is a fall sport lasting from August to mid- November. Some team members continue training with their year- round club teams located throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Practices take place immediately after school at the University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena Aquatic Center.
