What a Night for Crusader Athletics!

1K7A4812On Tuesday, March 27th, Crusader Athletics swept the evening with victories! The day began with our Crusader Bowling team participating in the Bi-Regional Tournament at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner. The first round matchup, at 1:00 pm, was against St. Amant with the Crusaders winning 23-4. The second round matchup, at 3:00 pm, was against Holy Cross with the Crusaders winning 19-8 and advancing to the State Semifinals against H.L Bourgeois on April 5th at All Star Lanes in Baton Rouge at 11:00 am.

Across town at Bayou Oaks South Golf Course, in City Park, our Crusader Golf team took on the Holy Cross Tigers at 3:00 pm. The golfers beat the Tigers with a score of 155-184. Over on Timberlane Golf Course, on the Westbank, our Crusaders played against the Rummel Raiders. The Crusader golfers also beat the Raiders with a final score of 184-201.
Tennis
On the University of New Orleans Tennis Courts, our Crusader Tennis team served a great game against the St. Augustine Purple Knights at 4:00 pm. The Crusaders won with a final score of 4-0 and continue their undefeated season record of 7-0. Meanwhile, the Men of Elysian Fields members of Track & Field participated in the Crusader Relays at Tad Gormley Stadium, also at 4:00 pm. 

To wrap up a victorious evening, our Crusader Baseball team played against the Rummel Raiders at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium for 7:00 pm. The Crusaders ended up winning the late game with a final score of 6-1.

We are so proud of all the athletic teams for their hard work and continued efforts to make our Crusader Athletics the best. We are the men who never say die!
