“Everything Today is Thoroughly Modern!”
The Brother Martin Dionysians/ Drama Club cordially invites the Brother Martin community and guests to come have a “roaring good time” as they prepare for their fall production of Thoroughly Modern Millie! This beloved and lighthearted musical comedy tells the story of a small-town girl from Kansas named Millie Dillmount who moves to New York City in 1922. She hopes to marry a wealthy man and plans to become a “thoroughly modern” woman in the ’20s while working for a high-powered boss. Living life to the fullest, she meets new acquaintances and even finds romance with someone unexpected, but gets caught up in the “flapper life” in the Big Apple. Can Millie have it all as a flapper in NYC and stay out of harm’s way? Come see what more Millie will explore in the city and meet her friends: Jimmy Smith, Miss Dorothy Brown, and Muzzy Van Hossmere.
