The Brother Martin Cheerleading Squad promotes school spirit and plays an active role in building student morale. The squad is selected through a tryout process. Girl members come from area Catholic high schools. The cheerleaders perform at football games, basketball games, pep rallies, and other school functions. They compete in various competitions on the State, Regional and National levels. Members attend summer camp each year at a nearby college.
An extracurricular letter may be earned by Brother Martin students.
Captains: Members rotate on a game-by-game basis, with the official Captains announced at the end of the season.
Practice:
Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Louisiana Tumble and Cheer.
Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Conlin Gymnasium.

The Brother Martin cheer team has claimed four national championships in six years. There are currently 19 athletes cheering at the university level as of the 2025 - 2026 school year.
