About: Deacon Robert Pendzimaz ’83:
Robert is a lifelong New Orleanian (except for a few years residing in nearby Long Beach, Mississippi) and a 1983 graduate of Brother Martin. He went on to Nicholls State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science followed by a master’s degree in Mathematics. Robert has worked in the computer electronics field for the past 35 years supporting a wide array of technology from the automation of factories to processing satellite data. Robert has been ordained a permanent deacon of the Archdiocese of New Orleans since July of 2015. He currently serves at St. Clement of Rome supporting various ministries. In addition to being a permanent deacon, he is a member of the Serra Club of East Jefferson and a Fourth Degree with the Knights of Columbus. Robert has been married for 16 years to his wonderful wife, Pam. Although they do not have any children they have 17 nephews and nieces, two grandnephews and one grandniece.

Houston alumni and their families are invited to a “Louisiana Crawfish Boil.” There will be complimentary crawfish with all the fixins’, jambalaya, burgers and hot dogs for the “little ones.” Beer and soft drinks will also be provided. A Brother Martin representative will be present to update you on school activities and answer questions.
We are requesting sponsorships to help offset the cost of this event. All sponsors will be acknowledged at the event, on our website, our CGN pages on Linked-In and Facebook, and in our alumni publication, Century II.

Virtual Trivia Night

Members of the Brother Martin community are invited to Trivia Night XI.
This is a free event. Donations accepted.
Virtual Team Rules:
Entries are limited to the first 20 teams to register. Each team may have a maximum of 5 players. The team captain will receive an email with the Zoom link to the stream. The captain will be responsible for sending the link to his/her teammates. Each player can enter the room 30 minutes before the competition begins. The majority (see below) of each team must be alumni, parents, faculty or staff members, or spouse of one of the previously mentioned.
Majority defined as:
• 4 of the 5 players
• 3 of the 4 players
• 2 of 3 players
• Both players
• Single player
We are planning 3 rounds of questions followed by a “Final Round” where points are wagered.
We are requesting sponsorships from individuals and area businesses to help offset the cost of this event. All sponsors will be acknowledged during the event. Also, they will be acknowledged on our school website, on our Crimson and Gold Network website, and in our alumni publication, Century II (circulation 15,000).

Weather Plan
If the course is unplayable, each player will receive a “replay certificate” based upon the number of holes completed.
All proceeds from this event will assist in advancing the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.
Entry Fee: $200 per person for afternoon tee time | $175 per person for morning tee time
Entry includes: special gift, golf towel, and a post-tournament reception.
Morning Tournament awards will be presented for Lowest-Scoring Team, Closest to the Hole, and Longest Drive. Breakfast and food on the course are included.
Afternoon round will feature oysters, Bear’s poboys, and Katie’s sandwiches on the course.
Lunch between the rounds prepared and served by the Class of ’74 Cooking Team Reception will include food prepared by the Culinary Crusaders.
