St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Wing and A Prayer Productions presents Beauty and the Beast this month. The show is co-directed by alumni Scott Sauber ‘93 and Michael Lynn ’04. A recent Brother Martin graduate, Alexander Lucas ’16, will be playing the role of Lumiere, while Joseph Arrigo ‘15 and Ryan Nocito ’06 have been double cast as Lefou. The production also features additional Brother Martin students and alumni including Aaron Didier ‘15, Justin Blanchard ’14, Cody Elsensohn ‘18, Carl Davis ‘18, John Heraty ‘18, Nick Russo ‘18, Andrew Butler ‘18, and Noah and Nathan Catalanotto ‘18, among many others. Several alumni and students from the Brother Martin Dionysians/Drama Club are also involved with the production.
The dates and times are June 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and June 19 at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. St. Luke’s is located at 5875 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Seating is limited in the church; please arrive early to secure a seat. There is no charge for the performance; donations are accepted.
Please note that Joseph Arrigo ‘15 will be playing Lefou for the performances on June 17, 19, 24, and 25, and Ryan Nocito ’06 will be playing Lefou for the performances on June 16, 18, 22, and 23.
