Crusader Rugby Defeats The Bayou Hurricanes

The Brother Martin Crusader Rugby team won their second game of the season by beating the Bayou Hurricanes 31 - 24 on Saturday. Scoring tries for Brother Martin were Brendan Scripter '19, Chase Clement '19, Drew Flynn '19 with two and Jackson Tramuta '19. Seth Alfonso '19 hit the conversion kick after three of the Crusader five tries. Justin Marcia '19 was voted Man of the Match by the Bayou Hurricanes. The Crusaders were led by senior captains Brendan Scripter and Jonathan Cohn.

The Crusader Ruggers play Jesuit on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the Rugby Field in City park at the corner of Harrison and Marconi.
