This past Saturday, the Brother Martin Mu Alpha Theta Club
competed against 15 other schools in the first ever Louisiana Mu Alpha Theta Virtual State Convention and came away with 1st place in Sweepstakes!
Mu Alpha Theta moderator, Ryan Skyta, "I am so proud of our guys! As long as I've been here [9 years], this is the first time Brother Martin has ever placed 1st overall in Sweepstakes. And to do it in a year where the all the events were Virtual and out of our students' comfort zones makes it that much more impressive to me."
First year Mu Alpha Theta moderator, Micah Silver '09, adds, "I hope this is the new normal for this club and this group of guys. They definitely have the talent to stay on top. It's just a matter of working hard and staying sharp."
