Admissions Process

The online Brother Martin High School Application is required for all students applying for the 2026-2027 school year and is due by Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Brother Martin follows the Admissions Timeline dictated by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools for 8th and 9th-grade admissions.

Admissions Process 

The following considerations are used in admitting prospective students to Brother Martin High School:

  • The student's desire to attend Brother Martin
  • Cumulative elementary school record
  • Recommendations from elementary school principal or teacher
  • An interview with each applicant and his parent(s)/guardians


For 8th-grade applicants who attend an Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Elementary School:

  • Brother Martin follows the Admissions Timeline dictated by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools for 8th-grade admissions
  • Return the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic High Schools Application Form for 8th Grade to your Elementary School Principal by Friday, November 14, 2025
  • The applicant’s Elementary School will send copies of all academic records to the high school of the applicant’s choice by Tuesday, November 18, 2025


For non-Catholic elementary school 8th & 9th grade applicants, Brother Martin requests that parents gather their son's cumulative elementary school records which includes:

  • Current first-quarter report card
  • Transcripts and Standardized test scores for the last three school years
  • A recommendation letter from applicant’s school principal or teacher
