Two Brother Martin Crusaders recently received the Altar Server of the Year Award for service to their Catholic parishes. Crusaders Alex Tarifa ‘26 of St. Edward the Confessor Church and Sam Vollenweider ‘25 of St. Philip Neri Church, alongside 75 other altar servers, were presented with this award on Thursday, February 20th at St. Rita Catholic Church in New Orleans.

Alex Tarifa shared what makes him want to serve during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, "I feel a connection and dedication during Mass through serving which helps me stay focused on what is taking place there."
