Last weekend, the Crusader wrestling team traveled to the “Big D” in Texas where they won the Grapevine Duals. The Crusaders took first place out of 48 teams. In the tournament, they went 8-0 defeating Belen (defending New Mexico state champions) by a score of 51-19 in the championship finals. Luke Cotton (120), Lane Boudreaux (132), Patrick Evans (145) and Mack Brown (220) led the Crusaders in pins.
The varsity wrestling team will take on Jesuit at Jesuit ‘s ‘Birdcage’ on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 for 6:30 p.m.
