Wrestling Competes for 5th Straight Championship

Good luck to the Crusader Wrestling team competing in the 2016 LHSAA State Championships. The Crusaders from Elysian Fields will compete for their fifth consecutive state championship title in Bossier City’s CenturyLink Center on Friday and Saturday. In addition, Brother Martin will go for its 17th state championship and eighth under head coach Robbie Dauterive ’84. Brother Martin is undefeated against in-state opponents and chosen as a favorite in the tournament.The Crusaders have 11 wrestlers who will be competing in the championships. Twelve of the Crusaders are top four seeds and another is seeded fifth. Please follow the Crusaders in the tournament at trackwrestling.com. Search for LHSAA State Tournament.
