We are pleased to announce the winners of our third annual “The Joy of the Resurrection” essay contest. The topic this year was Psalm 104: “Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.”

This Easter season we invited all students in grades 5th, 6th, and 7th grades to participate in this essay contest, which challenged them to reflect on scripture and consider one or more of these questions:

• Where do we see the Holy Spirit in our lives? 
• How can we be open to seeing the Holy Spirit’s presence even more than we do already?
• How does Easter “renew the face of the earth?”

Winners will receive a gift card to Barnes and Noble. We would like to congratulate the winners and thank everyone who participated in this contest. We look forward to continuing this tradition and spreading the good news of faith to young adults.
