Students in Mr. Dossaji’s 8th Grade Environmental Science class conducted an experiment recently to see if they could use a fungi (yeast) to blow up a balloon and if so why? Crusaders took time and carefully mixed the yeast with a sugar solution. They were asked to observe if any reaction was taking place and if so what was causing the balloon to slowly inflate.
