Brother Martin offensive lineman William Clapp committed to LSU and becomes the fourth commitment for the Class of 2014, and the second from Louisiana.
A 2012 Class 5A All-State selection, Clapp, 6 feet 5, 270 pounds, was named to the All-New Orleans Area large schools and All-District 9-5A teams, as well. He is No. 9 on NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune’s Fantastic 40.
William Clapp plans to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a Bengal Tiger. The 6-foot-5, 270 pounder pledged to LSU. William’s father Tommy Clapp, another Brother Martin product, was a lineman for the Tigers in the 1980’s.
