The entire Eighth Grade class had its annual Day of Reflection last Thursday, January 17, at Camp Abbey outside of Covington. The theme for the day was taken from the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart that seeks to promote the hope that each of our students graduate with a strong belief that God loves him. The Day of Reflection sought to help the to help the students realize that God loves them and to help each answer the question, What does it mean to me that God loves me? Various faculty members including, Br. Carl, Br. Louis, and Br. Kevin, gave talks to the eighth graders. The students also enjoyed a quiet, reflective time in which they were given a Sacred Heart medal and prayer card. The day ended with a Mass celebrated by Br. Louis.
