Following the Call to Leadership Liturgy, members of the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade classes were inducted into the Brother Martin chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, the junior high version of the National Honor Society that promotes academic excellence, leadership, and integrity. Students inducted earned at least a 3.5 grade point average and met the expectations of their teachers regarding their character and honesty. Assisting with the ceremony were the NJHS moderator, Ms. Colleen Neelis; Assistant Vice Principal for Academics, Mr. Thomas Mavor; and Principal, Mr. Greg Rando ’77. Afterward, families were invited to share donuts and cake at a small reception in the Thornton Terrace. Congratulations, Crusaders!
