The Crusader Marching Band wowed a packed crowd at Joe Yenni Stadium this week where they performed for the District VI Band Directors Association Marching Band Festival. All four components of the band performance received “1” (superior) ratings: the overall band, percussion, drum major (Antonio Suarez ’16), and auxiliary (dance team Dominican Debs). The band performed “Con Slancio,” “She’s Not There,” “Danzon Macabre,” and “The Best of Times.” This marks the 36th consecutive year of superior ratings for the Crusader Marching Band! Congratulations, Crusaders, on this outstanding performance!
