Finally, Brother Martin was able to shake Scotlandville in the Division I playoffs after being eliminated by them the past two seasons, and junior Chris Smith was a key factor. On a wet and windy night at Tad Gormley on Friday, the junior running back powered a Crusaders rushing attack that racked up 201 yards. Smith scored three times and finished with 134 yards rushing on 20 carries in the 30-0 victory, as he had success between the tackles as well as cutting back against the grain.
