Members of the CyberPatriot team and students enrolled in upper-level Computer Science courses were able to participate in a special presentation this past week given by Mr. Benjamin Leff ‘05. While in town for the Crypto Current Conference, Mr. Leff visited campus and gave a brief lecture on cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, and blockchain technology. Leff shared his personal stories and explained how companies are utilizing blockchain technology for security and gaming. Students were shown a video of a Bitcoin mining facility and visualizations related to real-time Bitcoin transactions.

Mr. Leff is the CEO of Leff Ventures and also consults with different tech companies, like Golidlock.

The Computer Science Department thanks alumnus Benjamin Leff ‘05 for taking time to explain these advanced technologies to interested students!
