On Sunday, June 5, 2016, Greg Deichmann’14 (#7) hit an inside-the-park grand slam in the first inning of the LSU vs. Rice game at Alex Box Stadium. This game was part of the 2016 NCAA Baton Rouge Regionals giving the Tigers a 4-0 lead against Rice. LSU went on to win 4-2. The Tigers plan to play the winner of Monday afternoon’s 2 p.m. Rice-Southeastern elimination game at 7 p.m on Monday night.
