The Crusader Chorus held its annual Christmas Concert this week at the James B. Branton Chapel on Brother Martin’s campus. Choir Director Kevin Caparotta ’88 led the young men through a series of Advent and Christmas hymns, some from other cultures, including “A La Nanita Nana,” a traditional Spanish carol; “Siyahamba,” a South African hymn; and “The First Noel,” an English carol. At the conclusion of the concert, alumni present joined the current choir members in singing “O Sacred Heart,” a Brother Martin tradition. Thanks to Mr. Caparotta and percussionist Mr. Kevin Estoque for their accompaniment. Choir members and their family enjoyed refreshments afterwards in the Meyer Science and Mathematics Building lobby.
