After a scoreless first half, Holy Cross took the lead in the 43rd minute as a Tiger beat the keeper inside the post for a 1-0 lead.
Brother Martin (3-1-1, 0-0-1) turned up the pressure as junior Miles Francis sent a volley over the crossbar in the 55th minute which almost tied the match. The Crusaders finally scored The equalizer in the 71st minute as senior Austin Bourgeois played a ball to Miles Francis, who converted and tied the match.
The Crusaders nearly scored twice more in the final three minutes to escape with a win but both Jonathan Labatut’s and Miles Francis’ shots sailed over the crossbar.
The JV Soccer team won 3-0 against Holy Cross with goals coming from Guillermo Reyes and Alex Rodriguez.
