Uriel Icaza, a junior at Brother Martin, is one of over 90 students participating in a special program at Tulane University this summer. Icaza is enrolled in Intro to Electronics, which is part of the Tulane Science Scholars Program for high school students to earn college credit. Other classes offered at Tulane include animal behavior, chemical engineering, computer science, neuroscience, psychology, music, and technology.
The Tulane Science Scholars Program (TSSP) is a selective program for high school students who have exceptional talent in the sciences and mathematics.
