Tad Gormley personnel notified us this afternoon that parking inside Tad Gormley will still be accessed from Marconi Drive - not Roosevelt Mall as stated yesterday. Major roadwork began Monday on Marconi Drive and Orleans Avenue. During construction, there will be one travel lane open in each direction at all times; however, there will be no parking on both sides of Marconi Drive and Orleans Avenue. Signage and parking instructions will be visibly posted throughout the duration of the project.
You can still access the parking lots inside Tad Gormley and on the outside of the stadium from Marconi Drive, but you should plan for traffic delays created by the closure of one lane in each direction. Please make sure to park legally to avoid possible tickets and/or towing.
This construction is likely to create traffic delays, especially on game days, and parking will be more limited than usual. Please plan accordingly when arriving for the game tomorrow and again for the Homecoming game on Friday, November 1st.
