Beau Ranlett came up with a big sack as time expired in the second quarter with McKinley threatening to score. On the first possession of the third quarter Pierce again found Moore for a 22 yard touchdown and increased the Crusader lead to 21 – 6. Pierce finished the night with 134 yards passing and two touchdowns, both to Moore who finished with 89 yards receiving.
