We would like to congratulate the Michigan Wolverines and their Athletic Director, Brother Martin Alumni Warde Manuel '86, for their 2024 National Football Championship win! 

Warde is best remembered at Brother Martin as a Golden Crusader as well as a High School All-American defensive tackle in football. Manuel helped lead the Crusaders to a semifinal appearance in the 1985 Class 4A playoffs under coach Robert M. Conlin, the namesake of our school's gym. He would eventually sign his letter of intent to play football at the University of Michigan. We are honored to have been a part of Warde's athletic legacy.
