The Eagle Scout is the highest honor earned by young men who have participated in Boy Scouts. It is the culmination of their training, education, and service in the Boy Scout tradition of honor and duty to “God and . . . Country, . . . to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, to keep . . . physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight,” as the Boy Scout Oath outlines. In addition, these young men have completed a major project of service to their community and shared their experience through an Eagle Scout Board of Review. We want to congratulate the following Crusaders who have recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout:

My Eagle project was to build a shadow-box memorial for Mr. Marty Hurley in the band room above the drum lockers. The shadow-box included his old drum set.
