Track & Field Sprints into State Championship

Track & Field Sprints into State Championship

Congratulations to the members of the Track and Field team who finished as team runner-up in the Region 3-5A meet Thursday night. Leading the team and qualifying for the state championship meet were Senior Matthew Christy with a 2nd place finish in the discus; Senior Hayden Courrege’ with a 2nd place finish in the 3200 meter run; Senior Jason Stant with a 2nd place finish in the 110 meter hurdles and a 3rd place finish in the 300 meter hurdles; and Junior Hunter Appleton with 1st place finishes in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.

The state championships will take place at LSU on Saturday, May 5. Good Luck, Crusaders!
