Our Bowling team traveled to Baton Rouge this week to compete in the state championships ...
Congratulations to the Brother Martin bowling team for claiming the 2022 LHSAA Bowling State Championship after a legendary, UNDEFEATED season! Crescent City Sports livestreamed the semifinals and finals (which can be found at the bottom of this webpage), and CSPN set up the projector in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall to display the semifinal games during lunch periods, much to the delight of our Crusaders. After winning the championship, Brother Martin bowling Coach Bruce Himbert was interviewed by Crescent City Sports, where he remarked that "This team has never quit... in the last 4 years, these seniors have lost only one game, making them 50 and 1 in their high school bowling careers." Today, several of our Crusader bowlers will compete in the bowling state single finals in Baton Rouge.
We are so proud of our Crusader bowlers for their hard work in such a remarkable season! Congratulations again, and geaux 'Saders!
