On Thursday, October 31, 2013, native New Orleanian, Terrance Osborne visited Brother Martin High School to unveil a commissioned piece of artwork called “The Tradition Continues.” The original artwork will hang in Brother Martin High School. A giclee of the piece only one of a kind will be auctioned off at the Celebration of the Crest – Extravaganza 2013 that will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Commissioned by Brother Martin to paint the edifice of Brother Martin High School in his signature vibrant style, nationally recognized hometown artist Terrance Osborne has captured this distinctive rendition you will be proud to own. While this original painting will hang on Elysian Fields, you may purchase a signed or signed and remarqued print. A beautiful rendering of the building , Osborne’s composition incorporates the key elements of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart’s New Orleans history, including the crests of St. Aloysius and Cor Jesu and Brother Martin Hernandez’s words. These references surround the focal point of the artwork and of our school, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
