Crusaders in Mr. Dossaji’s 8th grade Environmental Science classes were visited by Dr. Meena Vijayaraghavan, Senior Professor of Practice in the Dept of Cell and Molecular Biology, and some of her Biology students from Tulane University on Tuesday, October 14th. The Tulane students presented on proper water testing techniques including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen level, and clarity.
The Tulane students also presented data from an experiment which conducted and analyzed water testing levels at Audubon Park. The Tulane presenters discussed their findings with the 8th grade students followed by a question and answer session.
