The Brother Martin Dionysians took their final bows after a successful run of The Addams Family: The Musical. Audiences were thrilled by the talented cast and crew of over forty students who brought this ghoulishly delightful show to life.
The following recap was provided by Brother Martin Dionysian members Ramon Ramos '25, Noah DeLeon '26, and Toby Alfonso '27:
"In the creepy and kooky Addams Family, Gomez (Ramon Ramos ’25, Jackson Dartez ’26) and Morticia Addams (Jessie Bialous, Grace Wilson), their children Wednesday (Lily Adams, Sofia Zavala) and Pugsley (Zubin Dinshaw ’27, Cayden Percoraro ’28), and the rest of their eccentric family members and ancestors navigate the complexities of love, acceptance, and the true meaning of family. When Wednesday, the darkly whimsical daughter, falls in love with a "normal" young man named Lucas Beineke (Toby Alfonso ’27, Roman Alvendia ’28), chaos ensues. The Addams Family and the Beineke Family have to figure out who they truly are with the help of Gomez’s bald, odd-ball, moon-loving brother Fester (Mary Agate, Kaitlyn Brown), who helps mend the relationships between both families, even Lucas’s strict and proper father Mal (Joshua Dinh ’26, Evan Dobson ’27) and his caring yet crazy mother Alice (Meredith Adams, Scarlett Duhe’)."
This spooky, hilarious, and heartwarming story had audiences roaring with laughter and applause, making it a fantastic start to the Dionysians' season.
