The 45th Annual Al Briede Gold Cup Race was this past Saturday at City Park Roosevelt Mall. There was a 3-mile race and a 1-mile run which honored the top high school finishers. Crusader Alum, teacher, and cross country coach Ryan Gallagher ’00 was the first overall finisher with a time of 16:59 in the 3 mile division. Thanks to all the participants, event sponsors, and the New Orleans Track Club for helping put on this event.
