Over Thanksgiving Break, Brother Martin’s campus and E.A. Farley Field was filled with baseball campers ranging from 5 to 12 years of age. Our Crusader Baseball coaching staff was able to meet and practice with 70 campers from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Monday, November 20 through Wednesday, November 22.
The campers were divided up by their age groups and skill sets to help them learn further. Coaches Jeffrey Lupo ’92 and Michael Cappo ’00, along with the varsity coaching staff and players, were able to teach the fundamentals of baseball in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Holiday Baseball Camp was also a great opportunity to form a relationship with future Crusader students for years to come. The campers enjoyed their time, out on the E.A. Farley Field, in the great weather and spending time with their friends.”We look forward to seeing them at games in the spring and at our camps over the summer,” said Coach Lupo.
