On Thursday, January 20th, the Brother Martin NJROTC stood at attention as they were inspected by Commander Christopher Brown and Commander J. D. Braun from the Navy Talent Acquisition Group, New Orleans. The 2021-2022 Brother Martin NJROTC Annual Military Inspection took place in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium as a result of inclement weather. Our cadets were prepared, however, and they performed spectacularly during their inspection yesterday afternoon. This year, our NJROTC is led by Cadet Lieutenant Commander Christian Schneller '22 as well as by a dedicated support staff that handles vital operations which keep the program alive. At the helm of our NJROTC program are Commander Bruce Nolan ‘90, USN (Ret.) and Senior Chief Romico J. Barnes, USN (Ret), who were integral in ensuring our cadets were in tip-top shape for their inspection.
After the inspection and just before awards were presented, Principal Ryan Gallagher ’00 addressed the cadets: "I'm impressed every year and extremely proud every year, but from top-to-bottom, I have never seen our NJROTC unit look so good, enthusiastic, and confident than at this year's annual inspection."
The following cadets earned awards during the inspection yesterday:
