Crusaders Sign on the Dotted Line

IMG_8664On National Signing Day, seniors Roderic Teamer and Brendon Hayes signed their letters of intent.  Teamer decided to commit with the Tulane Green Wave.  The Teamer family has a long tradition with Tulane University which weighed heavily into Rod’s decision.  Teamer is excited about the opportunity because he feels like he’s “got a chance to play early” and wants to play wherever he can help the team out most.  He looks forward to playing at Yulman Stadium because “football is making a comeback at the school.”

Along with Teamer, senior defensive end Brendon Hayes signed his letter of intent to play at the University of Central Florida.  Hayes says he plans to major in mechanical engineering and will enroll starting this summer. Hayes also had offers from Washington State and Wake Forest.

Both Hayes and Teamer played crucial roles in the success of the 2014 Brother Martin Crusader football team (10-3) and its appearance in the LHSAA Division I semifinals.
