On Friday night, eight former Crusader baseball players will begin their Division I college baseball seasons. Jacob Seward ’13 and Corey Gaconi ’15 of Southeastern Louisiana, will host the No. 13 ranked UL – Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in Hammond, LA at 6 p.m. Owen Magee ’14 and UNO will host the Southern University Jaguars at Privateer Park for 6 p.m. Jonathan Ebersole ’13 and Virginia Commonwealth University will travel to Tallahassee, Florida to take on Florida State for 4 p.m. Michael Kirsch ’16 and Keagan Gillies ’16 and the Tulane Green Wave will host Army for 6 p.m. at Greer Field. In Baton Rouge, Greg Diechmann ’14 and Blair Frederick ’16 of the LSU Tigers will host Air Force for 7 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium.
