Summer Reading Test is Right Around the Corner

RJR_4127_bookAll 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders will take a Summer Reading test on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 during first period on the book they chose to read. Tests will be graded by the various academic departments and returned to students within two weeks. The test will count for 5% of the student’s grade going into his exam for the first quarter for the class to which the book he chose was linked. While students will receive their graded tests, the test grades themselves will not appear in NetClassroom until the end of the quarter, at which time the teachers will know exactly what point weight (to equal 5%) the test will take. Please ask your son about his test score, but be aware that you will not see the impact of the test in his online grade until October, before first quarter exams.

If you have any questions about the summer reading program, then please contact Mrs. Debbie Broussard, Assistant Principal for Academics, at dbroussard@brothermartin.com.
