The Brother Martin summer basketball team ended the De La Salle summer league with a 47-38 win over East Jefferson on Thursday night. The Warriors started the first half with a strong showing leading 22-16 at halftime. But, the Crusaders were surge back in the second half. Brother Martin outscored the Warriors 31-16 in the second half to secure the victory.
The Crusaders were led by Luke Walker’s 10 point second half. Bruce Jordan-Swilling and Venjie Wallis added eight points of their own to contribute to the win for the Crusaders.
