On July 23, 42 senior student ministers from Brother Martin travelled by school bus to St. Stanislaus College to join other student ministers from Catholic High, St. Scholastica, and St. Stanislaus for a three-day workshop on all aspects of student ministry. Talks by team leaders from all schools, break-out sessions, round robin discussion groups on communication skills, sessions on grief and loss, and the various types of prayer experiences were just some of the experiences included in this intense three-day experience. On July 25th, the student ministers were commissioned and spiritually energized, ready to address the needs of their school. Special thanks to Father Trey Nelson and Father Michael Allelo, alumni from Catholic High, for sharing their time and spiritual leadership with the young men and women charged with God’s work.
