Senior Student Ministers visited St. Scholastica Academy (SSA) in Covington, LA on Holy Thursday. The Brother Martin Student Ministers visited SSA on their day off while SSA was in school on their last day before Easter break.
The Student Ministers from both schools trained together over the summer at a workshop held last July at St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis.
At SSA, the Brother Martin Student Ministers joined the SSA Student Ministers for a mentoring session held in eighth and ninth grade religion classes. The Crusaders also took part in SSA’s school-wide Holy Thursday prayer service that was held in the Doves’ gym. Two of our Student Ministers had their feet washed and another two helped out with Scripture readings during the prayer service.
