The entire Brother Martin community gathered this past Friday morning in the Conlin Gymnasium for a spirited pep rally. Student Body President Michael Maldonado served as emcee. The crowd was entertained by the Crusader Cheerleaders, the Crusader Band, and the Student Council members who designed a skit showing Sean Payton being denied access to the Superdome, but not the Crusaders, who will celebrate Homecoming at the annual Homecoming Dance, held at the Superdome this year. Members of the 2012 Homecoming Court were presented, escorted by the senior who nominated them, through a formal sword arch provided by members of our NJROTC. Mr. Coppejans introduced swim team members who are in the beginning of their competitive season. The highlight of the pep rally was the student-faculty basketball game. Special guests included prospective Crusaders on campus for a school day tour.
Come cheer our Crusader football team tonight, Friday, October 5th, at 7 pm at Hoss Memstas Stadium on the westbank when we compete against West Jefferson High School.
