Congratulations to Benjamin Chanes ’18 for winning the New Orleans Open Tournament in the Boys ’18 Singles held this past weekend at the University Tennis Center located at UNO. En route to the finals, Benjamin upset the #1 seed Jacob Niehaus of Jesuit, who was the 2015 LHSAA state champion in doubles.
Working hard this season under their new head coach, Marcelo Chanes, the tennis team is determined and driven. With Chanes’ motto – “Earn It”- the team is re-committed to being top in the state.
