The varsity soccer team is on the roll for the 2016-2017 school year. The Crusaders had a big win against Northshore High School with Blake Robbins leading the pack. Last Saturday, a win against the Chalmette Owls was by a score of 6 – 0. Scoring for the Crusaders consisted of Blake Robbins with three goals, and Ebrahem Abuelhawa, Colin Ward, and Michael Barkemeyer with one goal each.
On Tuesday, December 6, the varsity team also defeated Ben Franklin by a score of 3 – 1. Blake Robbins led the team scoring two goals and the other goal was scored by Connor Damare.
The junior varsity team also beat the Chalmette Owls by a score of 7 – 0. Scoring two goals each for the Crusaders were Lance Gonzalez and Dylan Nicolosi. Christian Prince, Vidal Amador and Will Serauskas also scored one goal each at the game.
Varsity soccer will take on the Rummel Raiders at Rummel Saturday, December 10 at 2 p.m. Come support and cheer on your Crusaders this season!
