Soccer Remains Undefeated with 5-0 Win Over Shaw

IMG_6782The Crusaders (14-0) cruised in their 5-0 victory on Farley Field over the Eagles proving why they are currently ranked No. 3 in the state and No. 9 in the nation.

Cristian Canales started the game with the first goal of the day coming early in the opening half, and Peter Brooks made a nice move around the Shaw keeper for the Crusader’s second goal. Canales scored again before the end of the half to make it 3-0 in favor of the Crusaders.

Miles Francis opened the second half with another close attempt on goal, and William Thiele followed up converting his shot attempt into the 4th goal of the day for the Crusaders.  Brother Martin’s final goal was scored on a corner kick to end the game 5-0.

The undefeated Crusaders will play Rummel on Farley Field this Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
