The Crusader soccer team started the 2013-2014 season traveling to face off the Northshore Panthers on Wednesday evening. Brother Martin set the tone early with a goal from Peter Brooks in the 7th minute. Lockdown Crusader defense forced difficult shots by the Panthers which enabled the pressure for the second goal, coming from Marc Alvendia.
A goal by Cristian Canales in the 65th minute secured the victory for the Crusaders.
The Crusaders will play an inter-squad match against the JV team on Wednesday, November 27th at Audubon at 4:00 pm and will play Ben Franklin at Audubon at 6:00 pm on December 2nd.
