The Brother Martin soccer team opened its season with a 3-0 victory over fellow Brothers of the Sacred Heart school, Catholic High. On a cold night in Baton Rouge, Miles Francis led the Crusaders by scoring all three goals for the crimson and gold. A stout Crusader defense held the Bears to a shutout and helped secure the win.
Brother Martin will be back in action on Saturday at Grace King against the Irish. The action is set to start with the 9th grade team at 12 pm, followed by the JV at 1:30 and Varsity at 3:00 pm.
